From Data to Insight: Crafting Custom GA4 Reports in Looker Studio for Website Success

Date: Tuesday, March 25, 2025
Time: 1:30 pm to 2:20 pm
Room: Baker (LL3)
Track: Content & Marketing

In this hands-on workshop, you will be introduced to Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), a powerful data visualization tool for building customizable, dynamic reports from Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and a wide range of other data sources.

Many users have struggled with the limited reporting flexibility of GA4 since the transition from Universal Analytics, but Looker Studio offers a robust, free solution to gain deeper insights from your data.

In this fast-paced, interactive session, we'll walk through connecting your GA4 property, building custom reports with dimensions and metrics, and applying filters to get the exact data you need. We'll explore relevant chart types and visualization options, learning how to create reports that can be shared dynamically or as PDFs.

By the end, you’ll be equipped to begin creating reports tailored to your organization’s data needs. Whether you're new to analytics or looking to enhance your reporting capabilities, this workshop will provide you with the foundational skills to leverage Looker Studio effectively.

From Figma to Function: Bridging Design and Development with Storybook & Drupal

Date: Wednesday, March 26, 2025
Time: 9:00 am to 9:50 am
Room: The Learning Center (LL1)
Track: Development & Coding

This practical, hands-on workshop takes participants on a “storied” journey from UI design to development, starting from zero. You’ll hear perspectives from both a UI designer and a front-end developer and how to effectively collaborate across both disciplines.

Attendees will learn how to seamlessly bridge the gap between design and development by creating reusable, component-driven UIs that enhance collaboration and consistency across projects. At the end, attendees will understand how to translate Figma design components to Storybook and how to integrate these components into Drupal—resulting in a scalable design system.
