Holiday Cheer to You and Yours from Sandstorm!
As we wrap up 2024, we’re filled with gratitude for your support and partnership. Working with you has been a true pleasure, and we really appreciate being on this journey together.
For Spirit Week this year, the team selected a winner for each day and asked them to answer a fun holiday themed question. Head over to our LinkedIn or Instagram to check out all the answers! Thank you to everyone who participated and a special shout out to our winners.
On Friday we held our annual holiday party. This year we played a fun show and tell game where we asked everyone to upload an object from their house. Each person was randomly assigned to present an object with a story about it's meaning. Then it was up to the team to decide the person telling the story was the real owner of the object or if it was someone else. There were many objects we felt were calling out to one person, only to be surprised by the real owner. We also kept score to see who was good at guessing the right owner and who was good at tricking others.
The best moments:
- Many of the made up stories were very close to the actual story
- Our group is sentimental and several objects were passed down from family members or were from big life moments
- One Sandstormer's story was very elaborate.............. and another needed photographic evidence to back up their real story
- The final score was tied and had to be settled with an epic rock, paper, scissors
Next up was our virtual White Elephant gift exchange. This year we had a three steal limit, but it felt like there wasn't as much stealing as previous years. Special shout out to Nathan who emcees our holiday party!
A few highlights from the White Elephant:
Most Stolen Gift: Moon/Galaxy Lamp
Most Popular Gift Type: There were 4 board different board games (Ransom Notes, Family Trivial Pursuit, Cartographers, and Cover Your Kingdom)
Most Unlucky Player: was a tie between Jay and Cam with 3 stolen items!
Thank you for being such an important part of Sandstorm this year. We can’t wait to see what 2025 brings and look forward to achieving great things together!
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year,
Sandy Marsico
